There’s never been a better time to join the NCC. We’re delivering the future of composite manufacturing to a variety of sectors, and have some exciting, innovating programmes of work coming up.
We’re delivering solutions to a wide variety of industries, so we welcome engineers from a variety of backgrounds – naval, automotive, renewables, energy – the list goes on. The diversity of work you’ll pick up here makes no two days quite the same. It’s a great step in your career if you’re keen to get stuck into some innovative projects.
In return, you’ll join a growing team of composite designers, with an opportunity to progress your skills in a collaborative R&D environment.
You’re a proven composite Design engineer, with a hands-on approach to the design and manufacturing of composite parts. You’ve lead designs from concept to reality – bringing project teams and customers from whiteboard sketches to detailed CAD. You are familiar with a wide range of manufacturing processes and understand the challenges in multi-material designs. You’re engaging, with an ability to lead both internal and customer design workshops.
Understanding/interest in Catia V5 and CPD experience would be beneficial but not essential. You have a tendency to keep the end goal in mind and understand the challenges in turning designs into real, manufactured parts. If you’re a designer who can see the bigger picture, this is the role for you.
